DEPOSIT OF A RENT CAR IN Nanos car rentals
When renting a rental car, it is common to leave a deposit as a guarantee for the rental car. This deposit amount is retained on the payment method and depends on the vehicle rental group. The deposit can be kept in cash or in a Bank account or by credit card.
Please note that it may take up to a week for the deposit to be credited back to you upon return of the vehicle.
AGE REQUIREMENT: The renter and additional drivers must be at least 21 years for all categories
DRIVING LICENCE: The renter must have a valid driver’s licence held for at least a year.
MINIMUM RENTAL DURATION:(2) TWO days.
COLLATERAL: An amount of €400 is required as a damage warranty. This amount is returned after the vehicle is returned to the company.
INSURANCE: Rental rates include the following forms of coverage: death or bodily harm to third parties and passengers in the rented car except driver up to € 500.000,00 per accident, material damage to third parties up to € 100.000,00, the rented car against fire.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW): The renters liability for damage to the rented vehicle, can be reduced, under the condition that the Greek Traffic Law is not violated, to a maximum charge of €450 for groups: A,B. €750 for groups: C,D,E. €900 for groups: F.
SUPER COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (SCDW): This insurance gives to the hirer in the event of an accident full insurance, it also includes tyres/glasses and underside of the car and leaves the hirer with no financial liability)
THEFT WAIVER (T.W.): Included in price.
DRIVER PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (P.A.I.): Included in price. Covers the driver for death, permanent total or partial disability by traffic accident for up to € 16.500,00 and medical expenses for up to € 1.450,00.
BABY SEAT: Available upon request. Charge € 4,00 per day
NAVIGATING SYSTEM (GPS): available upon reservation, the charge: 8 euros per day.
AVAILABILITY: Car models are according to original planning. In case of delivery problems, we may have to offer the renter another vehicle from a better category with no extra charge. All cars are booked according to group of car and not car model.
TYPES OF CAR: The Company reserves the right to change the type of car with another type with the same cc.
FUEL: Fuel is always paid by the customer. The customer is obliged to return the vehicle with the same fuel level when the rental period began. If not, you need to pay the difference. There is no refund if there is more gasoline in the tank.
DELIVERY OR COLLECTION: There are no delivery and collection charges except for: Some areas are charged differently due to distance.
TRAFFIC FINES: The renter is liable and must pay for all tickets and penalties he gets from all forms of violation of the Greek Traffic Law during the rental period.
FERRYING: You must have written permission from the company
ROAD ASSISTANCE: EXPRESS SERVICE – 24 hours a day
Our cancelation policies.
For July - August - September
1) For cancelation 21 days or more prior to arrival, there is a full refund of the total amount
2) For cancelation from 21 to 7 days prior arrival, the 30% of the total amount will be charged
3) For cancelation less than 7 days prior to arrival, there is no refund.
For June - October
1) For cancelation 7 days or more prior to arrival, there is a full refund of the total amount
2) For cancelation less than 7 days prior arrival, the 30% of the total amount will be charged
